CHRISTMAS PARTY
The last Saturday of November heralds a day of great excitement for our children; their annual Christmas Party. This has grown such over the years as to where 12,000 children were catered for in 2006.
The party is made possible as CRC members and people throughout the community contribute financially and sponsor certain items. It becomes a fun time of fellowship as hundreds of people get involved in the preparations. Thousands of hampers are made up and within 2 days the grounds are transformed to create a carnival atmosphere.
It is a day of taking hands to reach out to underprivileged children, the reward being the look of excitement and awe on those little faces. We know that this special day creates positive memories and instills in children’s hearts that Jesus loves them and that they have been born to make a difference.
